Hi Internet Stranger, I’m Alex—a marketer, animator, and jazz enthusiast with a knack for crafting bold visuals and building brand identities. With experience in digital marketing, stop-motion animation, naming, and design, I help brands connect with their audience and stand out.
I’m drawn to roles and projects that combine creativity, strategy, and impact, especially in industries like non-profits, plant-based brands, creative markets, music, and sports.
My journey has been anything but conventional. Way back when in high school, I earned my Eagle Scout designation and played the tuba in the marching band. That passion carried me to college on a music scholarship solidifying my love of music and the arts. Later, I co-founded a food media publication acquired in 2023 and co-authored a cookbook. In all areas, I’ve always embraced experiences that challenge me to think differently.
I’ve built a career that bridges creativity and structure, with experience spanning public health, emergency management, education, food media, and marketing. Over the years, I’ve found my sweet spot in scaling businesses, streamlining operations, and managing projects that bring ideas to life. Whether it’s developing processes, coordinating teams, or finding creative solutions to complex challenges, I thrive at the intersection of strategy, production, and execution.
Outside of work, you’ll find me curating "Chaotic Good Jazz," a weekly newsletter sharing modern jazz recommendations and curated playlists, exploring PNW trails, and cooking up something fun in the kitchen with my wife, Lauren.
I believe the best ideas come to life when creativity meets strategy, and I bring that philosophy to every role I take on. Looking to collaborate? Drop me a line.
